Silver denarius, 19mm, 3.86gm, issued 135 BC. Rome mint.

Obv: ROMA, Helmeted head of Roma, X before.

Rev: C AVG, Spiral column, two togate figures either side of base.

The reverse shows the Columna Minucia, believed to be erected in honour of L Minucius for his part in the corn distribution in 439.
