Theodosius II

Augustus (AD 402-450)

Son of Arcadius, he inherited his father's title of Emperor of the East. Like his father and uncle, various subordinates ruled in his stead, starting with his sister Pulcheria. He died after falling from his horse - the longest rule in Roman Imperial history
