Obv: Diademed bust right, eagle behind.

Phraates was the son of Orodes II who murdered his father to take the throne. Hus forces defeated Antonys invasion early in his reign, but he negotiated with Augustus and in 20BC returned the eagles that had been lost to his father during Crassus defeat at Carrhae in 53 BC.
