Obv: Diademed bust of Vejovis left brandishing thunderbolt.

Rev: C LICINIVS L F, Minerva in quadriga right.

The moneyer, L Licinius Macer, was a historian but little of his writing remains. Vejovis was an ancient Italian divinity worshipped in Rome.
