Obv: ROMA, Laureate female bust (possibly Roma), right, draped and wearing diadem.
Rev: MNĀ·AEMILIO LEP, Three arches, on which stands equestrian statue - horseman wears cuirass and wreath and holds spear.

The reverse alludes to an aqueduct begun by the censors M. Aemilius Lepidus (the moneyer's ancestor) and M. Fulvius Nobilior in 179 BC.
