Flavius Claudius Constantius Gallus

Dynasty: Family of Constantine

Caesar (AD 351-354)

Cousin of Constantius II, half brother of Julian. His cousin raised him to be Caesar while Constantius marched West to defeat the usurper Magnentius. Gallus was also married to Constantius' sister Constantina. Gallus' rule in the East, however, was excessively cruel and he was recalled and executed
