M. Cassianus Latinius Postumus
Usurper (AD 260-269)Postumus revolted from the Emperor Gallienus at around AD 260 in Gaul. In the revolt, Gallienus' son Saloninus was killed. The new Gallic Empire, as it has been called, seceded from the rest of the empire, and included Gaul, the Rhine, Britain and Spain. Postumus reigned successfully for almost eight years before being murdered by his soldiers
