Germanicus

Imperial Family Member (AD 14-20)Tiberius nephew (son of Nero Drusus). Germanicus achieved great fame early in the reign of Tiberius by invading Germania. His actions however raised his uncle's suspicions and he was quickly moved from the German frontier to the East. He flaunted a long standing tradition by visiting Egypt without permission, which only increased Tiberius' anxiety. He died shortly after, in suspicious circumstances. He was the father of the future emperor Caligula
