Bronze AE25, 25mm, 8.15gm, issued AD 242/243

Obv: IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG, Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust facing right.

Rev: PMS COL VIM (AN IIII in ex.), Moesia standing facing, extending hands towards bull standing on left, and lion standing on right.

The bull and the lion were the emblems for Legions VII and IV which were stationed in this province.
